FARKAS FELLOWSHIPAJC's Transatlantic Institute (TAI) runs the Farkas Fellowship programme, which provides a young professional (either recent graduate or with some experience) an opportunity to immerse themselves in EU affairs and the effort to strengthen the transatlantic relationship. One to two fellows are selected each year to join the TAI team for a period of at least six months. Recruitment occurs in the summer and the winter.We are currently not accepting applications for the Farkas fellowship, though we thank everyone for their interest. Please check back with us in the summer of 2011. INTERNSHIPSAJC's Transatlantic Institute is seeking a number of full-time or part-time interns for its Brussels office.Qualifications: Applicants will preferably be college graduates or current graduate studetns with a background in international or European affairs. Students currently completing the last year of their first degree may be considered. Excellent writing and research skills are a priority. French language skills are also an asset. The ability to work in a small, team-oriented environment in needed. Good organizational and practical skills and ability to handle multitasking with accuracy are essential. Interns will gain access to a highly stimulating, policy-focused enviroment and will gain the opportunity to interact with EU officials, scholars, journalists and other policymakers.
